Simple Woman’s Daybook 4-27-09

FOR TODAY April 27, 2009…

Outside my window… The ground is damp from last night’s thunderstrom, and already the temps are into the 70’s.

I am thinking… I must conquer my fears and pursue my passion!

I am thankful for… all the blessings that God has allowed to enter into my life.

From the learning rooms… creating recycled paper to make cards…

From the kitchen… we’re having leftover taco salad, red beans and rice, chicken fried rice…

I am wearing… blouse and culottes

I am creating… goals, plans, dreams and schemes ;)

I am going… to figure out how many cucumber plants I should allow to grow in each mound…

I am reading… blog entries.  If you a favorite send it to me!

I am hoping (praying)… for the health of my friends and family and for myself.  I need to get back on a diet and lose about 5 lbs this week!

I am hearing… quiet morning noises

Around the house… a new attitude and better results!
“…I’m feelin’ good from my head to my shoes
Know where I’m goin’ and I know what to do
I tidied up my point of view
I got a new attitude…”

One of my favorite things… the smell in the air after a spring rain.  Not the hot humid kind but the cool fresh clean kind of rain.

A few plans for the rest of the week:  the library, sewing, a graduation, May Day fun…

Here is picture thought I am sharing…

I would love to know what that ground-pine moss-like plant with the white blooms is at the top!
