Daybook for Memorial Day

FOR TODAY May 25, 2009…

Outside my window…  sun is shining, perfect day for a celebration and to welcome summer!…

I am thinking… I hate biting insects!  Summer has begun.  Maybe not according to schedule, but definitely in the hearts and minds of most Americans!

I am thankful for… Zyrtec

From the learning rooms… Patriotism, The Bible Study Guide for All Ages, the 3R’s, finishing  up the school year.

From the kitchen… we had toast and eggs, grilled cheese, dinner is undecided.

I am wearing… red, white, and blue!

I am creating… goals, plans, dreams and schemes.

I am going… to make me a huge glass of iced green tea!

I am reading… The Diseasing of America’s Children Exposing the ADHD Fiasco and Empowering Parents to Take Back Control by John Rosemond, MS and Bose Ravenel, MD.

I am hoping (praying)… for America and her people.

I am hearing… I have been listening to patriotic music, Elvis singing gospel, and songs of the Civil War.

Around the house… it’s Memorial Day!

One of my favorite things… finishing a project!

A few plans for the rest of the week:  having a meeting to wrap up a project, library, church, perhaps sewing.

Here is a picture thought I am sharing…
